# Connect Claude

> Add LeadLex to Claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude Code.

All three options use the same server URL:

```
https://mcp.leadlex.com/mcp
```

## Claude.ai and Claude Desktop

**1. Open connectors**

In Claude, go to **Customize → Connectors** and choose **+ Add**. On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization Owner adds the connector first under **Organization settings → Connectors**, and members then choose **Connect**.

**2. Add a custom connector**

Choose **Add custom connector**. Name it `LeadLex` and paste the server URL above.

**3. Sign in to LeadLex**

Claude opens a LeadLex sign-in and consent screen. Approve the access. Claude registers itself with LeadLex automatically, so you do not need a client id or secret.

**4. Try it**

Start a chat and ask: "What is in my pipeline this week?"

> [!NOTE]
>
> Menu names change between Claude releases. Custom connectors are available on the Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. Free accounts can add one. On Team and Enterprise, only certain roles can add them, so if you do not see **Add custom connector**, ask your workspace admin.

## Claude Code

Add the server with one command:

```bash theme={null}
claude mcp add --transport http leadlex https://mcp.leadlex.com/mcp
```

Then run `/mcp` inside Claude Code, select **leadlex** and follow the sign-in.

To use a workspace API key instead of OAuth:

```bash theme={null}
claude mcp add --transport http leadlex https://mcp.leadlex.com/mcp \
  --header "X-API-Key: wbk_your_api_key"
```

Some tools need a signed-in user and refuse an API key. See [Authentication](https://docs.leadlex.com/mcp-server/authentication.md#oauth-only-tools).

## Disconnect

Remove the connector in Claude. To revoke the grant on the LeadLex side, open **Settings**, then **API & Integrations**, then **Connected AI Assistants** in the LeadLex dashboard.
